In addition to the In-Store Activities, a number of shops and restaurants are also offering Boutique Experiences just for Girlfriends Weekend. These hand-on activities include art classes, candle making, cake decorating, craft cocktail lessons, and more! Space for individual experiences is limited and advanced registration is required as described in each listing.

Listed below are all the Boutique Experiences that took place during the 2025 Girlfriends Weekend…be sure to check back in early 2026 to see what our businesses are planning for the 2026 event!

Experiences do require a separate registration fee as noted in the description.

Please note that boutique experiences are only open to registered Girlfriends Weekend attendees and are subject to change. Please contact the business directly with questions about their experiences or to register for an experience. Girlfriends Weekend organizers are not able to assist with inquiries about individual experiences organized by our businesses.

Cocktail Class

Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant
Ticket/Registration Fee: Starts at $30 per person
Sat: 2pm & 3:30pm
Get ready to shake things up at Girlfriend’s Weekend Cocktail Making Class at Boatwerks! Join us on Saturday, March 8, for an interactive, step-by-step tutorial where you’ll learn to whip up a martini that’s a party for your taste buds! Holland’s coolest bartenders, Steve and Aly, will lead you through crafting our best-selling Raspberry Lemon Drop & a Cherry Espresso Martini. Not only will you be mixing and sipping your martinis, but you’ll also receive a copy of the recipes and a stainless-steel shaker to show off your new skills at home!

Advanced registration is required by registering here. Tickets start at $30 per person. Please note tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person.

Raise Your Glass To Girlfriends

Carolyn Stich Studio
Ticket/Registration Fee: $30
Fri: 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm | Sat: 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm | Sun: 11am
Join local artist Carolyn Stich at Carolyn Stich Studio to paint your very own wine glass or glass plate! Custom templates designed by Carolyn herself guarantee that your painting experience will fun and and relaxing. This is a great time to catch up with your girlfriends and let your artistic side shine. Cherry Republic will be offering wine tastings and mocktails, as well as their light appetizers and treats during each class.

Class fee is $30 per person. The Great Girlfriends Weekend Bake Off

Cakabakery on 8th
Ticket/Registration Fee: $65 per person / $110 per pair
Sat: 11:30am and 1pm
If you’re a fan of “The Great British Bake Off” you’ll love what we’ve cooked up for you! This class will include a lesson in trending cake decorating techniques but with the fun and flair of the competition show energy you love in a Bake Off episode. Best part is, we’ve done the baking for you! You’ll be supplied with a 6” cake, ready to decorate, and all the elements and advice from our top decorator that you’ll need to be awarded our top prize. Sign up for one person or a pair of girlfriends at a lower price. Come enjoy a lighthearted and joy-filled time with and take away a cake to share with a few girlfriends.
